About this position

As a Junior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing Linux-based servers, providing customer support, and ensuring smooth system operations. You will handle live chat and ticket support, using your expertise in Linux commands and familiarity with popular control panels like cPanel, WHM, Plesk, and DirectAdmin. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Linux System Management: Utilize Linux commands to manage and troubleshoot server environments effectively.
Control Panel Expertise: Work with control panels such as cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and DirectAdmin to configure and manage server hosting environments.
Customer Support: Provide real-time live chat support and resolve customer queries efficiently.
Ticket Support: Manage and respond to customer tickets in a timely manner, ensuring resolution of technical issues.
System Monitoring: Monitor server performance, implement patches, and ensure security protocols are followed.
Documentation: Create and maintain system documentation for reference and future troubleshooting.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in system administration or a related role.
Expertise in Linux commands is essential.
Familiarity with control panels such as cPanel/WHM, Plesk, and DirectAdmin.
Ability to provide both live chat support and ticket-based support.
Fluency in English (both oral and written) is mandatory.
RHCE certification will be considered an added advantage.
A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
Shift Timing: Daylight shift, Monday to Saturday.
