The Problem
Here is the uncomfortable truth about self-managed cloud hosting: it has always been a two-tier world. On one side, businesses that can afford dedicated DevOps engineers who know their way around a Linux terminal. On the other side, everyone else — developers, small agencies, growing startups — who either overpay for managed hosting platforms that lock them in, or spend hours on tasks that should take minutes.
Setting up a single production server the right way requires configuring Nginx or Apache, managing PHP versions, setting up MySQL, securing a firewall, installing SSL certificates, setting up cron jobs, configuring Redis, managing file permissions, and deploying code — each of these is a multi-step process that can go wrong in dozens of ways. Do this for 10 client servers. Then 20. Then 50.
Platforms like Cloudways, ServerPilot, and RunCloud exist to solve this — but their pricing is tied to the number of servers and applications you host. As you scale, the cost scales with you. You are essentially paying a premium for the convenience of not having to know Linux, every single month, forever.
The question CloudHouse asked was simple: why does this have to be so hard, and why does it have to be this expensive?
The Real Cost
Agencies managing 10+ client servers on managed hosting platforms spend $500–$1,000+ per month just for the convenience of not needing a Linux sysadmin. That cost compounds every year, forever.
"Before CloudStick, spinning up a new client server took half a day and required our most experienced developer. Now anyone on our team can provision a server, deploy WordPress, and have a live site with SSL in under ten minutes. It has completely changed how we onboard new clients."

What We Built
CloudHouse designed and built CloudStick from scratch — a full-stack SaaS platform that abstracts every painful part of server management behind a clean, intuitive interface.
The architecture was built around a Go backend that maintains persistent, encrypted connections to each connected server. When a user clicks "Deploy WordPress," CloudStick is actually SSH-ing into their server, installing the LEMP stack, creating a database, configuring Nginx virtual hosts, and installing a free SSL certificate — all in sequence, all in under five minutes, with live progress shown in the browser via WebSockets.
The platform was designed to handle the full server lifecycle: from the moment you provision a new cloud server, through app deployment, day-to-day management, and long-term maintenance. Every operation that would normally require terminal access is available through the dashboard.
What makes CloudStick different from every alternative is that it is not a hosting provider. You bring your own cloud servers from any provider you already trust. CloudStick simply gives you the tools to manage them properly — tools that used to require a senior Linux engineer to use.

The Result
CloudStick launched as a commercially available SaaS product at cloudstick.io. It is available on a free plan — which lets you manage one server with unlimited hosted applications — and paid plans starting from $6.67 per month billed annually, with lifetime deals available for agencies that want to lock in a single price forever.
The platform competes directly with Cloudways, ServerPilot, and RunCloud, but at a fundamentally different price point. Users who were previously paying $50–$100/month per server on managed hosting platforms have migrated to CloudStick and managed the same workloads for a fraction of the cost.
Migration to CloudStick is 100% free — the support team handles the entire process. The platform has attracted a growing base of WordPress developers, PHP agencies, and hosting operators across multiple countries who needed enterprise-grade server management without enterprise pricing.
For CloudHouse, CloudStick represents the kind of product we are proud to have built: one that genuinely changes how people work, saves them real money, and makes something that was unnecessarily hard much, much simpler.
Project Highlights
Efficient Timeline
CloudStick was taken from concept to a commercially launched SaaS product through a structured, phased build. Core server provisioning shipped first, validated with real users. App deployment, security management, team features, and billing were layered in over subsequent sprints — each phase production-tested before the next began.
Advanced Technologies
Go (Golang) handles the backend for high-concurrency server management — running parallel SSH operations across hundreds of server connections simultaneously. Vue.js and Tailwind CSS deliver a fast, responsive dashboard. PostgreSQL manages all relational data. WebSockets provide real-time log streaming and live server monitoring without polling.
Measurable Results
Server provisioning time: hours → under 5 minutes. Free plan available — 1 server, unlimited apps, zero cost. Paid plans from $6.67/month. Lifetime deals for agencies. Supports 5 major cloud providers. 100% free migration with support team. Directly competes with Cloudways, ServerPilot, and RunCloud at significantly lower cost.
