1. Quick Fixes (Most Common)
Sync Your System Clock: This is the #1 cause of failures. If your computer or phone's time is off by even a minute, the security token will be rejected as "expired." Go to your settings and toggle "Set time automatically" off and then back on.
Update Your Browser: As of 2026, Cloudflare has dropped support for older browser engines. Ensure you are on the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
The "Incognito" Test: Open the site in a Private/Incognito window. If it works there, a corrupt cookie or a faulty extension is the culprit.
2. Browser & Extension Cleanup
Delete Site-Specific Data: Instead of clearing your entire history, you can clear just the data for that specific site. In Chrome/Edge, click the Lock icon in the address bar > Cookies and site data > Manage on-device site data and delete the entries.
Identify "Aggressive" Extensions: Privacy tools (like Ghostery or certain "Hardened" ad-blockers) and VPN extensions can block the JavaScript Turnstile needs to run. Disable them temporarily to see if the challenge loads.
Enable JavaScript: Ensure JavaScript hasn't been disabled for that specific domain in your browser’s "Site Settings."
3. Network & Connection Adjustments
Avoid "Dirty" IPs: If you are using a free VPN or a shared public Wi-Fi, your IP might have a low "reputation score." Cloudflare may flag it as a bot source. Try switching to mobile data or a reputable, dedicated VPN.
Disable "Private Relay" (Apple Users): If you are on an iPhone or Mac, Apple’s iCloud Private Relay can sometimes conflict with Cloudflare’s regional checks. Try turning it off in your iCloud settings.
4. Technical Error Codes (For Admins & Power Users)
If you encounter a specific error code while managing your site's security settings, it is helpful to understand the underlying cause to apply the correct fix.
Error Code 110600: Challenge Timed Out This code generally points to a synchronization issue. It often occurs when your system clock is incorrect or if the network connection is too slow to process the verification token before it expires. Ensuring your device is set to update its time automatically is the first step in resolving this.
Error Code 200100: Clock or Cache Problem Similar to the timeout error, this specifically flags a discrepancy in the data stored within your browser. Clearing your browser's local cache and verifying that your time zone settings are accurate will typically clear this hurdle.
Error Codes 300xxx / 600xxx: Bot Signal Detected These codes indicate that the security system has flagged your browser's fingerprint as suspicious. This can be caused by using "Stealth" plugins, automated browsing tools, or certain hardened privacy extensions that make your browser look like a machine rather than a human. Disabling these extensions or trying a different, standard browser often solves the problem.
Error Code 110200: Domain Not Authorized This is an administrative error that appears when the website's owner has not properly registered the domain within their security dashboard. If you are the site administrator, you must log in to your dashboard and ensure the domain is added to your authorized list.
Still stuck?
If none of the above works, try the "Router Reset" trick. Unplugging your internet router for 30 seconds can often assign you a fresh IP address from your ISP, which can bypass an IP-based flag that Cloudflare has placed on your connection.
